Professional Accounting, Tax and Financial Services
Paul obtained his B.S. degree in Business Administration
from Oklahoma State University and my M.B.A. from Oklahoma City
University as a graduate with High Honors.
During the beginning of the bank “merger
mania” that swept through the banking industry in the early
90’s, in order to prepare his career for the consolidation
of the banking industry, he sat for the Certified Public Accountant’s
examination in November, 1993 and upon notification of passing all
four parts of the exam in his first attempt, was certified to practice
in February 1994. This achievement was accomplished while maintaining
his position as President and CEO of a community bank.
As a community banker, Paul was very involved with
his customers, staff and community. He worked with all three (3) areas
as a trainer and facilitator for general management issues, sales
management, strategic planning, sales training, marketing assistance,
customer service training, business development and product development.
To be in compliance with regulations and laws in the banking industry,
he felt compelled to obtain his Series 7 securities license.
Paul has assisted customers and community activities
with budgeting, accounting, financial services, income tax planning,
tax preparation and financial analysis.
Recently, he was able to fulfill a lifelong dream.
In November 2002, when he retired from banking, he opened his own CPA
practice. His desire is to merge his banking career experiences with
his accounting abilities so that he may establish and maintain a close
relationship with his clients.
Paul opened this practice along with his wife, Sherri, with the idea of putting
you, our client, first, and providing exceptional customer service.
Our son, Adam Pearce, has joined our practice. Adam graduated in May 2005 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He then spent two and one-half (2-1/2) years in the corporate accounting world. While working for privately and publicly held companies, his responsibilities included general revenue staff accounting. Later in his corporate accounting career, he was promoted to senior accountant and revenue analyst.
Following corporate downsizing in November 2007, Adam came to work for us part-time and decided he enjoyed working in the public sector. He then requested to become full time and has enjoyed working in the family business since that time.
Adam is currently studying for his CPA exam and plans to be finished and certified by May 2009.
